No Indian can survive without street side stalls. Foodie that we undeniably are, we have an special place for chats and snacks, especially sold on those small stands and vehicles, with invariably long queues and crowds awaiting their turn for the mouth watering offerings.

Hyderabad, this city of Nizams and monumental wonders, lures you with its awesome food too. Nawabi cuisine is definitely alluring but the street food here is what takes you heart away. We all know about chat houses such as Gokul and Maharaja Chat (of course a must for those on a trip to Hyderabad) but it is the Bandi or the food stall that is taking over the city. Located near Charminar, this place has food lovers from every corner of the city. Quite literally! Whether you try tawa idli or the butter dosa, made with upma, tomatoes and onion and off course lots and lots of butter. A place not to be missed.

Chachaji vada pav and Dabeli:

Satiate your craving for spicy vada pav right here in Hyderabad at the popular bandi of Chachaji. Dabeli, a Gujarati snack is must try here. About the taste and its authenticity let us just tell you that this food stall is run by a Gujarati couple themselves.

Located in Sindhi Colony, near the Dimmy Pan Palace you will find a small stall with hordes of people around it and that is the place you need to go! It is said that it usually runs out of stock within 4 hours in evening. Now that says something about the taste. Isn’t it?

Pandu’s or NS Bandi:

Standing apart from dosa bandis, here is the bandi with a difference! Pandu’s or NS Bandi is located on Road no 12, MLA colony, offering some of the best street Chinese dishes with a slight touch of Indian flavors. Cost effective and yummy food. What else do we need right? Chinese food lover or not, everyone should visit it at least once. We bet you will go again.

Ram Ki bandi:

The kings of Bandis, ram ki Bandi is a place almost every Hyderabad would have visited at least once. So why not you? Located in Mozamjahi market, opposite to Karachi bakery, this place not just serves the best dosa but has amazing timings too. Be it midnight or 3 am in morning, you can visit here for amazingly delicious dosa and idlis.

When here, try the Double Cheese Dosa. It is like an Indian flavored pizza which has been made crispier and off course yummier. Crispy hot dosas or piping hot idlis, this place serves unquestionably the best dosa in the city.

Yousufguda Egg Dosa Bandi

Egg lovers this is the place for you. One of the street food choices in Hyderabad, this Egg dosa Bandi, is located on the Yousufguda Main Road. Run by two ladies, you are served magical combination of egg on crispy dosa with toppings of onion and spicy gun powder. Even the coconut chutney it is served with is delicious.
