Charminar- Can you leave Hyderabad without visiting Charminar. The right answer has to be a resounding no. This monument which you see everywhere Hyderabad is mentioned, is worth admiring. Built during the reign of Qutub Shahi Dynasty, in 1591, Charminar still stands majestically. Its domes, minarets and the detailed carvings are examples of architectural excellence.
Golconda Fort- Another historical monument that you mustn’t miss is the Golconda Fort. This fort, with its exceptional acoustics, water supply, defence system and strong chambers will leave you impressed. I will also recommend the light and sound show here. You can also visit Taramati Baradari or Qutub Shahi Tombs, which are located quite close to the fort.
NTR Gardens- For a breath of fresh air and a bit of entertainment, visit the NTR Gardens. Here you will find ample area to just sit with greenery around. How to reach Hyderabad?
Reaching Hyderabad is extremely easy. You can reach by air, trains or buses, depending on where you are travelling from. The Rajiv Gandhi International airport in Shamshabad is connected to all the major towns and cities of India and the world.
Hyderabad has three major railway stations, namely Nampally Railway station, Secunderabad railway station and the Kacheguda railway station. All three are well connected to the rest of the country. There are regular luxury as well as government run buses also from nearby cities like Bangalore, Mysore, Pune, Warangal, Goa, Vijayawada, etc.
Once you are in the city, you will have no problem commuting via public transport too. There are TSRTC buses, MMTS local trains and even metro rails connecting all the corners of Hyderabad.
