Reviews of Archival Museum Hyderabad

"Nothing Great!" -
Rating: 2 stars
They might have special collection but when you go you don’t get to see much. I don’t know where those are kept! The staff or those people in-charge were least bothered to answer any query or to assist you. I am for sure not going there again!

"Rare Collection" -
Rating: 4 stars
I visited Archival Museum recently. I loved the collection in this museum. I was told that it has almost 1 million records, mostly of Asaf Jahi Dynasty. Documents even about the rule of Shah Jahan. It found the collection here is very rare. A must visit.

"Go only if you like history" -
Rating: 4 stars
There are many galleries here. I didn’t have much time so couldn’t see everything in detail. But paintings and the sculptures are the best part. Seeing those decades old stuff was quite interesting. I like things which are associated with history, if you don’t like, Archival Museum, then Hyderabad might just bore you!

"Really Disappointing" -
Rating: 2 stars
I had a disappointing experience. Archival Museum is not that known. After visiting I know why it is so. They have good collection. But nothing so great in comparison to other museums in Hyderabad. Salar Jung Museum and Hyderabad Museum are way better. Best to visit them on your Hyderabad visit.

"Good collection of records" -
Rating: 4 stars
Archival Museum has mostly manuscripts and historical records. And these records are from the time of Mughals, from Aurangzeb and shah jahan times. It also has records of Hyderabad state. It is open on all days so visiting is not a problem but yes have to go before 5 pm it closes by then.

"Decent museum, go if you have extra time" -
Rating: 4 stars
Archival Museum Hyderabad is not so great but has some really good collection of manuscripts and records and all. I wasn’t very impressed, but my friend really found it informative. It is more for people who have some knowledge of history and want to explore more. Go only if you have extra time to kill.
