I used to go to public gardens since my childhood days. I used to go to Hyderabad for my vacation. My grandparents house is near to this place so we would go for morning walks there. Even now when I visit Hyderabad, I go there for morning walks. This garden is nicely maintained even now, I have seen many couples and families in evening, usually for a relaxed outing.

We went to public garden when we visited Hyderabad last time. It is a decent park, clean and well maintained. In morning it was mostly occupied by walker and joggers. Many senior citizens were also there, there was laughing club and some yoga practicing in groups. . But there is nothing to see here as such.

Public garden is best for picnic with kids. We take our kids to garden usually, it is nice spot for picnic; I and my friends just sit and relax when kids can play around in the open area. Its opening timings are from 9 to 6 pm, so we usually go by late afternoon and come back by evening. There is a toy train too inside this park. Trust me, kids just love it.

We went to see AP state museum so just happened to spend some time at the public garden. It is a nice place to sit and just relax. There were lots of families with kids, even couples were sitting there enjoying the greenery. We saw more number of elder people, just sitting and chatting, a lot of walker and joggers can be also seen.

Public garden is a decent place to go for jogging and exercise but if you are going for outing like we did, you will find things to do. We sat there for max 1 hour as there was nothing to do for us. There is a lake inside, but it looked kind of dirty so we didn’t opt for boating too. There is a museum too, but there were no fixed entry timings so we couldn’t see that as well.
