TTD Temple in Jubilee Hills is a new temple built in Hyderabad. And although the city has many old and revered temples, this temple holds special importance. It has been built by the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) management, which manages the famous Tirupati Balaji Temple.

The temple is dedicated to Lord Venkateswara (or Lord Balaji), and it resembles the Tirupati Temple. The temple is also known as Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple, TTD Balaji Temple and Mini Balaji Temple. All special poojas and sevas, as performed in Tirupati Temple, are performed here.

TTD Venkateswara Temple in Jubilee Hills is on a small hill on Road No 92. And from here, you can enjoy beautiful views of the surrounding Hyderabad.

Architecture of TTD Temple Jubilee Hills Road No 92

The architecture of this Mini TTD Temple Jubilee Hills is similar to that of the Tirumala Tirupati Temple. It is built in the Dravidian style of architecture with Mulbagal stone.

The gopuram (entrance gate) of the temple is 67 feet high.

And the sanctum sanctorum (garbha gruha) is called Ananda Nilayam. It can accommodate 50 devotees at a time. The presiding deity, Lord Venkateswara Swamy, is in a standing posture, made of black granite. It is a 6.5 feet high idol carved by sculptors from Chennai.

The dwajasthambam (flag post) is made with teakwood, and it has a height of 45 feet.

This new TTD temple complex also has a Maha Ganapathi Temple which is 33 feet high. The entire complex is similar to the main temple in Tirupati.

Things to do at TTD Temple Jubilee Hills

TTD Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple Jubilee Hills performs all the different Arjitha sevas as in the famed Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanam. You can be a part of the rituals and get the blessings of the lord.

The daily sevas in the temple are Suprabhatham Seva, Thomala Seva, Ekantha Seva, Archana and Archana with Sahasranamam. Apart from these daily rituals, priests also perform the weekly Poorabishekam pooja in TTD Temple Hyderabad.

TTD Temple Jubilee Hills Timings and Entry Fee

TTD Temple Jubilee Hills darshan timings are from 5 AM to 2 PM and from 4 PM to 8 PM. The temple is open every day of the week. Entry to the temple is free but you need to buy a ticket to be present in the sevas.

Suprabhatham Seva is performed with the opening of the temple, at around 5.00 AM. Its ticket is priced at ₹100 per person. Tickets for Thomala Seva, performed around 6:45 AM, are available at ₹200 per person. Sahasranamam Archana tickets are also priced at ₹200 per person. It’s performed at 7.15 AM. And the tickets for Archana during Sarvadarshanam and Ashtothram cost ₹200 for 2 people.

Then, the tickets for Ekantha Seva are available at ₹50 per person. It is performed at 8.45 PM every day. And the Friday Abhishekam (at 6.30 AM) costs ₹500 per person.

You must be in a traditional Indian dress if you want to participate in the sevas and other rituals of the temple. Also, the entry tickets should be pre-booked one day before.

And if you go to the temple on the second Sunday of the month, you can get the Tirupati Laddu Prasadam. This special laddu is made only by Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanam, and its price is ₹50.

Best time to visit TTD Temple at Jubilee Hills

You can visit this new TTD Temple at Jubilee Hills any time of the year. However, it would be best to visit it during the weekdays. Go there early in the morning to witness the special rituals.

Also, the climate of Hyderabad is best during winter, from November to February. Therefore, plan your visit during those months to explore the temple complex well.

Time to explore TTD Temple Jubilee Hills

On a normal, not-so-crowded day, it should take you less than an hour to have darshan of the lord. But during some festivals and other special occasions, you might have to wait in long queues. So, get your ticket a day in advance to minimise any discomfort on the day of the visit.

How to reach TTD Temple Jubilee Hills Hyderabad?

TTD Balaji Temple Jubilee Hills is within the city centre of Hyderabad, in Jubilee Hills Road No 92. It is also in proximity to many other prominent tourist attractions of Hyderabad. And it is accessible from all parts of the city.

Hyderabad Nampally Railway Station is about 2 km from here and Secunderabad Railway Station is about 7 km away. Hyderabad airport, Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, is 30 km away. Now, the following are the different ways to reach TTD Balaji Venkateswara Swamy Temple Jubilee Hills –

By metro – Chikkadpally Metro Station and Narayanguda Metro Station, both on Hyderabad Metro Green Line, are about 2 km away from TTD Temple Jubilee Hills. From the station, you can hire a taxi/auto to reach the temple.

By bus – Public buses to TTD Jubilee Hills are also available. The Liberty Bus Stop Himayat Nagar is the nearest, only a few hundred metres away. You can walk the distance or hire a taxi/auto for the temple.

By taxi/cab – Private cabs and taxis are the most convenient way to reach TTD Temple. You can get a taxi anywhere in Hyderabad. And it should take you only about 30 minutes to an hour to reach the temple from most parts of the city. You can also book a private cab from top car rental companies in Hyderabad and visit this new TTD temple and all other places of tourist interest.
